TAC has acquired vast application knowledge on the material handling and feeding of fine powders, including powders with exceptionally difficult handling and flow properties.

Consideration should be given to material handling properties of the powder under consideration. This would include aspect like particle size, solid and bulk density and a variety of practical handling issues, such as whether the product tends to flow freely out of a hopper, perhaps bridges or has an inclination to rat hole. All of these issues will result in the product not flowing when required resulting in plant stoppages and down time. It is important to select the correct combination of feeding and materials handling equipment when designing your powder filling system.
